Oscar 2019, rivelate le shortlist per effetti speciali, colonna sonora e film straniero

La settimana delle votazioni per i premi Oscar 2019 si sta avvicinando, e la Academy per facilitarsi il lavoro sta iniziando a sfoltire i candidati nelle varie categorie.

Nella notte l'associazione ha infatti comunicato le shortlist per il miglior film straniero, la miglior canzone, la colonna sonora, il miglior documentario (lungo e corto), il miglior cortometraggio, il miglior cortometraggio animato, il miglior trucco e i migliori effetti speciali.

Da segnalare l'esclusione di Dogman di Matteo Garrone dalla corsa alla statuetta per il miglior film straniero, ma noi italiani possiamo consolarci con Suspiria di Luca Guadagnino: il film continua la sua avanzata nelle categorie Hair and Makeup (nel quale è un forte contendente alla vittoria finale, basti pensare al lavoro fatto su Tilda Swinton) e in quella per la miglior canzone originale (Suspirium di Thom Yorke).

Ovviamente la grande favorita per questa categoria è Shallow, di A Star Is Born, ma nella shortlist rientrano anche ben due canzoni di Mary Poppins Returns.

Nel campo degli effetti speciali, invece, non è sorprendente trovare un sacco di film Disney nella lista, inclusi tutti e tre i titoli Marvel rilasciati quest'anno (Black Pantehr, Infinity War e Ant-Man & The Wasp), Mary Poppins Returns, Solo: A Star Wars Story e Christopher Robin. Nell'elenco preliminare troviamo anche Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Welcome to Marwen e Ready Player One, con First Man - Il Primo Uomo di Damien Chazelle unico rappresentate dagli effetti visivi minimali e iperrealistici.

Vi ricordiamo che i candidati agli Oscar 2019 verranno svelati il ​​22 gennaio,mentre la 91esima edizione degli Academy Awards andrà in onda domenica 24 febbraio.
