Gotham Awards 2017, Scappa: Get Out al comando con 4 nomination

Scappa - Get Out, diretto da Jordan Peele, è al comando, con quattro nomination, dei Gotham Awards 2017, festival dei film indipendenti. Di seguito riportiamo la lista completa delle categorie e relative nomination.

Get Out è stato realizzato con un budget di soli 4, 5 milioni di dollari, ma ne ha guadagnati 175 al box office nordamericano; inoltre, il rating su Rotten Tomatoes era del 99%. Adesso, con quattro nomination, inclusa quella per il miglior Film, il miglior Regista esordiente, la migliore Sceneggiatura e il miglior Attore, questo horror prende di diritto posto tra le uscite migliori dell'anno n corso.

Altri titoli in concorso che meritano di essere nominati sono Call Me by Your Name, con Armie Hammer e Timothée Chalamet, Tangerine, The Florida Project, e la pellicola con protagonista Margot Robbie nei panni della pattinatrice su ghiaccio Tonya Harding, I, Tonya.

Molti attori e registi riceveranno dei premi (tributi IFP) durante la cerimonia, inclusi Nicole Kidman, Dustin Hoffman, Sofia Coppola, il CEO della Blumhouse Productions Jason Blum, Ed Lachman e Al Gore.
