Eddie Awards: Joker, Parasite e The Irishman fra i nominati

Pochi minuti fa sono state comunicate online le nomination agli Eddie Awards, giunti quest'anno alla loro settantesima edizione: fra i nominati inclusi anche Joker, Parasite e The Irishman di Martin Scorsese.

Gli Eddie Awards premiano il montaggio in 11 categorie fra film, televisione e documentari. La società onoraria distribuirà i premi durante la cerimonia che si terrà il 17 gennaio al Beverly Hilton. Le votazioni finali si apriranno il 16 dicembre per chiudersi il 6 gennaio.

Quest'anno, per la prima volta, tre film in lingua straniera sono tra i nominati agli Eddie Awards - The Farewell, I Lost My Body e Parasite - nonostante non ci sia una categoria specifica per i film prevalentemente in una lingua straniera. Il grande vincitore dell'anno scorso è stato Bohemian Rhapsody, che poi vinto anche l'Oscar nella categoria specializzata.
