Avengers: Endgame, Ford v Ferrari e Frozen II vincono ai Lumiere Awards

Frozen 2: Il Segreto di Arendelle, sequel del film d'animazione della Disney divenuto il più grande successo commerciale per il cinema animato, ha guidato la premiazione dei Lumiere Awards assegnati nella notte dalla Advanced Imaging Society.

Il film di Jennifer Lee è stato premiato con tre Lumieres per il miglior film d'animazione immersivo, la miglior canzone originale e il miglior uso dell'HDR. La Lee ha ritirato i premi durante la cerimonia ai Warner Bros. Studios di Burbank, in California.

La Advanced Imaging Society ha assegnato un totale di 23 premi per il riconoscimento di risultati creativi e tecnici, con Avengers: Endgame che ha ricevuto il premio cinematografico per il miglior intrattenimento dal vivo, cementando il suo status di front-runner agli Oscar 2020 per la sezione VFX. Ford v Ferrari ha vinto invece il premio per il miglior audio immersivo, con il regista James Mangold che è stato insignito del premio Harold Lloyd.
