Questa mattina tutto il mondo si è svegliato con una notizia che molti non si aspettavano: Donald Trump è il 45esimo Presidente degli Stati Uniti d'America. Molte sono le celebrità che nel corso degli ultimi mesi si sono schierate apertamente contro o a favore del candidato fuori dalle righe. Ecco le loro reazioni ai risultati delle elezioni.
Il nuovo nome del Presidente Eletto ha scatenato l'ira di molti volti noti di Hollywood, che durante la notte hanno pubblicato le loro reazioni shock e hanno condiviso la loro delusione (e in alcuni casi, la loro soddisfazione) per il notevole vantaggio alle urne del magnate nei confronti del candidato democratico Hillary Clinton. Molti sondaggi vedevano il candidato democratico Hillary Clinton in vantaggio rispetto a Trump. Presto, però, si è fatto sempre più evidente il distacco che ha visto Trump sempre più vicino alla vittoria.
Dato il supporto dei rappresentanti dello show business soprattutto per la Clinton c'era da aspettarsi la moltitudine di reazioni deluse che si sono riversate sul web. "Qualcuno mi dia la speranza", ha affermato Sarah Silverman. La vincitrice di un Emmy Sarah Paulson ha trovato conforto nell'abbracciare l'action figure della Clinton: "Ti ho preso e non ti lascio andare", ha scritto l'attrice.
E intanto, la serie sci-fi di Netflix, Black Mirror ha fornito un'osservazione inquietante: "Questo non è un episodio. Questo non è marketing. Questa è la realtà.".
