The Artist in testa alle nomination dei Golden Globe 2012

Oggi è stato il turno della Hollywood Foreign Press (la stampa estera internazionale ndr.) ad annunciare le candidature per l'edizione 2012 dei Golden Globes. The Artist guida con 6 nomination, seguono con 5 The Help e The Descendants.

Gli 81 giornalisti della Hollywood Foreign Press Assn come al solito hanno dato più peso al glamour dei loro candidati che alla loro attuale bravura. Sebbene in alcuni casi sono state riparate le mancanze delle nomination dei Sag, anche con queste candidature sono stati dimenticati film e persone importanti.
Lo sa bene Woody Harrelson, che stamattina all'alba assiema a Gerard Butler, Rashida Jones e Sofia Vergara ha annunciato le nomination. La sua performance in Rampart è stata nuovamente snobbata, così come quella di Melissa McCarty in Le amiche della sposa, quella di Max Von Sydow nel film di Daldry, pellicole rimaste con la bocca usciutta sono state il film di Cameron Crowe We Bought a Zoo, e quello di Daldry, Extremely Loud and Incredibili Close, The Tree of Life di Malick e La Talpa di Alfredson.
Le idii di marzo invece ha ricevuto ben troppe nomination, Gosling avrebbe meritato di più per la sua interpretazione in Drive che nel film di Clooney. Per quanto riguarda i registi rimasti a bocca asciutta, vetta su tutti Spielberg snobbato a favore di Clooney...
Altra delusione riguarda la mancata nomination dei Muppet nella categoria della miglior canzone originale, occupata invece da Madonna. Il glamour vince... Fa piacere invece veder riconosciuto il lavoro della Winslet e della Foster in Carnage. Il film di Polansky non è stato premiato abbastanza.
Morgan Freeman il 15 gennaio verrà premiato col Cecil B DeMille Award, il premio alla carriera dei Golden Globe. La cerimonia sarà condotta da Ricky Gervais.
