Critics' Choice Awards: il miglior film è La La Land

Sono stati assegnati poche ore fa negli USA i Critics' Choice Movie Awards, i premi cinematografici assegnati annualmente da 250 critici americani che lavorano nel mondo della tv, della radio e della stampa cartacea e online. Ad aggiudicarsi il premio come miglior film dell'anno è stato La La Land di Damien Chazelle, con Ryan Gosling e Emma Stone.

Il musical di Chazelle si è portato a casa numerosi riconoscimenti, tra cui il premio alla miglior regia, alla miglior sceneggiatura, alla miglior fotografia, al miglior montaggio e alla miglior canzone, City of Stars.
Per quanto riguarda i premi agli interpreti, Casey Affleck si è aggiudicato il riconoscimento al miglior attore drammatico per Manchester by the Sea, Ryan Reynolds quello al miglior attore brillante per Deadpool.
Fra le attrici, premiate Natalie Portman per Jackie di Pablo Larrain e Viola Davis per Fences. Riconoscimenti anche per Mahershala Ali come miglior attore supporter in Moonlight e Lucas Hedges come miglior giovane attore supporter per Manchester by the Sea.
Per quanto riguarda la tv, a trionfare è American Crime Story:The People v. O.J. Simpson mentre Il trono di spade vince come miglior serie drammatica.
